RCM Administrative Assistant

Lakewood, CO

Vivo Infusion is looking for an Administrative Assistant to support our Revenue Cycle Management Team. This position requires the RCM Administrative Assistant to primarily work from the Corporate office in Lakewood, with the ability to work remotely on occasion as tasks and projects allow. We are looking for a team member with prior administrative office experience who has a passion for data management, organization, and an eye for detail. Prior experience working with HIPPA regulations, record keeping, and/or working in a healthcare environment, a plus!

Compensation Range: $20.00 - $24.00/HR

Reports To: Revenue Cycle Collections Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
  • 1 Year of administrative office experience, required.
  • Digital literacy and research skills, including the ability to analyze the reliability of information
  • Familiarity with standard office platforms, such as Microsoft Office, Adobe, Outlook
  • Data management and entry skills, including the ability to maintain and improve filing systems
  • Must have strong written communication skills
  • Time management, multitasking, and flexibility
  • Organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Supply management and inventory control
  • Interpersonal skills, professional and courteous demeanor, excellent office and phone etiquette, and the ability to diffuse tense situations
  • Ability to work well independently and in collaboration with others

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operations within the RCM department.
  • Maintains physical and digital filing systems
  • Responds to emails and other digital queries and correspondence.
  • Drafts and edits letters, reports, and other documents.
  • Inputs and updates information in databases and spreadsheets.
  • Uses word processing and presentation software to create and edit documents.
  • Operates and maintains office equipment, including printers, copiers, scanners, and fax machines.
  • Works with maintenance staff and outside vendors to ensure office equipment is in good working order and office supplies are always on hand.
  • Works with sensitive information with discretion to maintain confidentiality and security and ensure compliance with privacy policies and regulations. (HIPPA)
  • Ensures that deadlines are met and adapts to changing priorities.
  • Presents a positive and professional image for the organization.
  • Reviews and submits appeals and medical records according to department policy and cadence.

Work environment and physical demands:

The employee is frequently required to sit and infrequently required to stand, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit, stand, walk and talk, climb stairs, and hear. Requires excellent visual dexterity and manual dexterity.
